If the phrase “Ed Hardy jeans sale” does not get you excited, then you have not been paying attention to latest trends. The Ed Hardy clothing line is just the latest stunningly successful endeavor of fashion mogul, Christian Audigier and that alone is enough to get the stars excited. These days say “Ed Hardy on sale” out loud and you’ll get the attention of everybody within hearing distance, but it wasn’t always like that.
Ten years ago, the idea of unknown Audigier and tattoo inspired fashion, would have probably made many fashion forward folks laugh out loud. After arriving unemployed in the states in 2001, Christian Audigier is now at the center of one of the most meteoric rises in fashion history.
He is known far and wide as the top designer for Diesel, Fiorucci, Bisou Bisou and Von Dutch and now adds Ed Hardy to his collections as well.
A true case of life influencing fashion can be seen in the story of Ed Hardy. With the popular followings of tattoo shows such as Miami and LA Ink, tattoos and the art inspired by them have been slowly seeping into the mainstream line of sight. As a true artist and traditional tattooist, Don Ed Hardy can be seen as one who has been waiting for this day to come for quite some time. With an honorary doctorate from the San Francisco Art Institute, this California native is recognized around the world for his hypnotic imagery as a painter and printmaker and his tattoo influenced designs as fine art are shown in galleries and museums all over the West. Audigier saw the writing on the wall in 2004 and licensed the rights to produce the Ed Hardy clothing
line, which is based on Hardy’s imagery.
The collection represents an entire lifestyle of street couture, appealing to both men and women, with high quality, intricately designed tee shirts, caps, wovens, and outerwear. Ed Hardy fresh and inspirational designs are hot, hot hot! As Audigier keeps track of which celebrity is wearing his clothes today, cutting edge jeans urban clothing store offers a great selection of discounted Ed Hardy screened tattoo tee shirts, jeweled and glittered tee shirts and With prices at 34.99 to 149.99 (elsewhere $54 to $265), you can’t go wrong with this hot trend.

Get The Best Travel Bargains On Your Vacation
There are many outstanding travel bargains to be found if you just know where to look. Let’s examine a few ways to save money on travel. For more details and information on budget travel, visit my web site through the link in my resource box below.
Airlines
With the cost of jet fuel soaring, higher prices are in effect at all major airlines. In the midst of all this, you can still locate bargains on the web. Many online specials exist, especially if you’re willing to wait until your proposed departure date is near. Browse the airlines’ websites along with Travelocity and Expedia for special pricing. Sometimes the individual airlines will have specials that don’t appear on Travelocity or Expedia, so don’t forget to check them.
Accommodations
You might have to sacrifice a bit here in order to find bargain places to stay. Again, the web is your best friend in tracking down cheaper rates. Rather than reserving space at a pricey hotel, you might be better off staying at a cut-rate motel. After all, you’re on vacation and you’re only going to use the place to sleep. Seek out those that are not adjacent to major attractions, since their rates will be lower.
Cruise Deals
Aim to take that cruise vacation during early fall or the end of summer. You’ll find much better rates. A cruise can be one of the most economical vacations on the planet. The ship is your hotel and food is included. You couldn’t take a vacation as cheaply if you paid for these items separately. Just do a Google search for ‘cheap cruise deals’ and take a look at some of those travel bargains. At the time of this writing I found one, for example, that offers a 7 day Caribbean cruise for as low as $329 per person, or a Canadian adventure for as low as $249 per person. These are amazingly low prices for all-inclusive vacations.

Holliday Romance
Some people worry about the amount of money that they will spend, but there's no need to worry at all. There is no rulebook in the world saying that spending quality time together has to be expensive. If you're a money-minded person then you can also stay at a hotel/resort which is just a few miles away from your home. In this way, excessive money won't be wasted in traveling and the travel time is also reduced. It makes perfect sense with the high fuel prices these days.
Just log onto the Internet to check out what you can really get. You will quickly see that there are more bed & breakfast locations around than you may have thought there were. You should choose the one that gives you everything you want at an affordable price. Also, be sure to search for promotional offers online as they can reduce your expenses. You should compare the weekday rates with the weekend ones because you are likely to find quite a difference between them due to a high demand for weekend getaways.

Choose Your Hotel Room
To receive a fine, upright or yet a luxurious room, never be uncertain to ask the front desk clerk or the travel agent for the exact space you want. These people are not psychics who can examine your mind. They won’t know what you need if you will not tell them.
Give them the exact details. If you’re not that tight on your budget, you can go as far as asking for a space on their concierge plane or their penthouse suite. If you have a tight financial plan, as long as it covers a specific view or bed you want, its fine. If you won’t tell them what you want, chances are, you will get stuck in a space nobody else desires.
If you are frequently in the area or you have been a visitor in that exact downtown hotel, inform them. It can be as blunt as telling them openly that you stayed there previously and that you want the same type of room you had, or a dissmiliar space this time. It may moreover be as discreet as informing them what you detested or fancied about the space you had there as well as you would want something better this time.
Hence, once you receive a space plus spot things that don’t seem correct or is bound to give you some problems; tell their front desk right away. Settle only for the finest. If you are the one shelling out for the room, it should be well worth it. If it is your office that will disburse this, the more you may insist for a fine space; or else your company is better off taking the dealing elsewhere.
If you must stay at that hotel for not less than 4 days; or you have plans of going to the area frequently, you may inscribe a letter or a note to the director, at least a week prior to going back there. Include in your letter your purpose in staying there for a span of time; plus if it is likely to receive a discount on their rates or if it can cover an upgraded space.

NY's a very sexy city
Rubbish. If a man is tired of London, he can always go to New York (ladies you're not excluded, this means you too).
Actually, it especially means you. In the space of a week in New York, I had more men approach me than anytime before in my life!
New Yorkers are known for being obnoxious, sullen and cold to visitors but don't let this put you off, because it simply isn't true. The immigration guard at JFK airport was charming. I even think he was flirting a little bit.
I'd never visited New York before, but every street looked familiar as I drove in a yellow cab towards my Manhattan hotel.
I'd seen them so many times in the movies, in posters, adverts and read about them in books that to actually be there in person was a little overwhelming.
It was genuinely exciting and I felt a spark of holiday magic as I looked up at all the glittering lights; the kind that you can't pay for on a rollercoaster.
I arrived at the Holiday Inn, 57th Street, between 9th and 10th Avenue, just around the corner from the theatre district and was greeted by a flurry of welcomes as I stepped through the door - "Hello! Wow, look at you, welcome to New York, which room are you in? That's an amazing room! I was just telling Shirley here about the bar I was in this afternoon, but that's a different story. You're just adorable, pull my moustache, that curl is natural and I never use wax! When you've unpacked come down to the bar and I'll buy you a drink."
This, by the way, was Joe the general manager, who took it upon himself to treat every new arrival like New York royalty. Talk about friendly. Can you imagine receiving the same reception at The Holiday Inn at the Pear Tree roundabout? I think not.
With so much to do, and so many things to see, it's tough to know where to start in a city like this. The Empire State? The Statue of Liberty?
Bah! I'd come to this city with a single aim in mind; to worship at the doorstep of She who represents single ladies, fashionistas, great girl friends, shoe obsessives, and all women everywhere who have had one or three relationship mishaps before: Miss Carrie Bradshaw. There is an easy way to follow in the footsteps of those fabulous New York women Carrie, Miranda, Charlotte, and Samantha and that is to take the three hour Sex and the City bus tour around Manhattan.
Along with 30 other women, a gay couple, and three defiant looking boyfriends, I piled into a bus outside the gorgeous and very glamourous Waldorf Astoria hotel next to Central Park.

How to travel carbon light
Air Travel Carbon Offsets
It is difficult to get around the emissions that the airplane produces while shuttling you to your destination. Currently the best option is for you to purchase a carbon offset. There are numerous non profit organizations that use the money from your carbon offset donation to aid in the development of sustainable energy sources such as wind power or solar electric generation. Other carbon offset programs plant trees to soak up the carbon produced during your flight. Carbon offsets are not that expensive either. A carbon offset calculated on Carbonfund.org for a roundtrip flight from San Francisco to Paris would be only $11. Of course carbon offset can also be used for any travel mode that produces carbon emission be it by car, train, or ship.
Accommodation
A potentially less polluting lodging option to consider is a vacation apartment or home. When you stay in a vacation rental you are in control of the energy use - just as you are in your own home. Hotels use a tremendous amount of energy for heat, air conditioning, daily linen changes, and all the other services they offer. Your vacation rental will not be consuming huge amounts of electricity 24/7 365 days a year as the hotel does. You can conscientiously limit the amount energy you use by turning off the heating or Air conditioning while you are out visiting the sights. You can use the linens and towels just as you do at home.

Travel to Spain
As you can imagine, the architecture of Barcelona, the Holy Monstreat, and the Toledo cathedral make this a popular coordinate. And because this is such a hot travel spot, you're advised to make your airline reservations, hotel reservations, and car rental preparations early - three to four months in advance as a matter of fact - especially when tourism is likely to be high (summer months, holidays, etc.). If you prefer to travel "off-season," - that is, during a time when tourism is low, you may not need to make such early reservations. In the latter case, one month-advanced preparation may suffice.
After you've made your reservations, you can fulfill the rest of your time preparing for everything that Spain has to offer. One of the ways that you can do that is by taking a local trip to your favorite library and perusing the immense number of books about Spain. By doing this, you can prepare yourself with the language - perhaps even check out a few books or audio tapes of the language (if available) and additionally learn about Spain's monetary system.
You should always learn about entry requirements, inoculations and other safety information you might need before you go not only to Spain - but also just about anywhere out of the country. But you can also familiarize yourself with the dress of the land and maybe try a few local restaurants that serve Spanish cuisine and play a little of its native music. Of course you can always visit your museum and inquire about the art of the land so that you'll know what to look for once you get there - in particular, the works of El Greco. The idea here is to educate yourself amid all the excitement of visiting a place so rich in culture!
Now some people like spontaneity - a little adventure - the unknown - whatever you want to call it, but some of us like to create an itinerary of things to do and places to go. If you're the "planning type," then you might appreciate taking the time to map out your excursion. And there's certainly nothing wrong with that - seeing that you're visiting a new area, your chances of being bored or going against spontaneity are very slim because Spain has so much to offer to each one of your physical senses!

Tips On Planning A Procrastination Vacation
Whether there was too much work on their plate, anxiety about returning to the workplace following time off or simply not enough time to plan a trip, 45 percent of Americans did not take all of the vacation days they had coming to them in 2006.
To help turn that trend around, the experts at Yahoo! Travel offer these tips and ideas for planning the perfect Procrastination Vacation-a much-needed getaway that, until now, kept ending up on the back burner.
Short And Sweet Destinations
• Only two to three vacation days left? Treat yourself to some quick Southern hospitality in Memphis. Travelers can sing along with the King at Graceland, march with the ducks at the Peabody and eat barbecue on Beale Street-all in just a few days.
• Procrastinators who want to see France can cross the border and visit Quebec instead. Ninety-five percent of Quebecers speak French, which makes this walled city feel like a little piece of Paris.
Take Your Time Destinations
• If you've got plenty of time coming your way, explore the best of two worlds in Istanbul. Straddling Europe and Asia, Istanbul is a city of contradictions, mixing modernity and traditional charm. Travelers can take a tour of the 1,470-year-old Hagia Sofia, browse authentic shops at the Grand Bazaar, or take a boat trip down the Bosporus.
• If the beach is more your style, fly down to Turks and Caicos. Sunbathe, play a few rounds of golf or snorkel in one of the best dive spots in the world. Average highs of 80 degrees can be expected.
Procrastination Vacation 101
Before you plan your vacation, remember these tips:
• Determine Number of Vacation Days Remaining-Consult the HR department/superiors to confirm quantity of unused vacation days.
• Ease Travel Stress-The airport could actually be a relaxing place this season since crowds tend to be lighter in the fall, with travel peaking around Thanksgiving and Christmas.
• Take Advantage of the Weather-With many destinations having their best weather this time of year, as well as lower flight prices, fall can be one of the best times to travel.
• Anticipate Travel Time-Flying halfway across the globe probably isn't the best idea if you only have a few vacation days left. Plan a road trip or fly somewhere nearby instead. Yahoo! Travel Trip Recommendations' "Near Me" category is perfect for suggesting destinations close to home that will serve as a great getaway.

Holiday Travel with Kids
I happen to be a big fan of the Christmas televisions shows. I happily admit that I am still a fan of the Grinch, the island of toys and, of course, Rudolf. Alas, one can’t help buy notice none of these shows make any mention of holiday travel. While we occasionally see Santa in his sleigh, he certainly isn’t sitting in a depressing airport lounge waiting for a four hour flight delay to pass.
Holidays are a great time because they give you a chance to loaf. If you’re traveling out of town to a family home, you can anticipate spending a few days of eating too much, sleeping a lot, watching football and pretending to explain gifts to a child while you are really playing with them. Everyone looks forward to these family gatherings.
Nobody looks forward to actually going through the process of traveling to family gatherings. Travel by airplane, and you have to sit in crowded airports, suffer through connecting flights, pray the weather doesn’t act up and, of course, wedge yourself into a seat made for a super model. There is also that moment of apprehension when the plane is loading and you hope not to get stuck to “drunk guy”, “gonna get sick guy”, “cute, hyperactive child” or an insurance salesman. All of these downfalls are multiplied when you travel with your kids.
Being a child is about having fun and exploring your surroundings. Sitting in an airport for 5 hours is not conducive to such things. The old Stapelton Airport in Denver used to have a giant waiting room that was painted in dark red. When the weather acted up, it was like getting a 10 hour preview of hell. As miserable as you might be with delays, your child will be ten times worse off. So, what do you do?
In this age of the gadget, there is always the video game. There problem, however, is there something disturbing about watching a child’s eyes glaze over as he digitally kills monsters, other humans or whatever happens to be on the screen. One has to wonder what society will be like in another 20 years or so when these video game experts come to the forefront.

CHOOSE AND PREPARE YOUR HOLIDAY HAM
What are the different types of holiday ham
A ham is cured pork, specifically the entire back leg of a hog. But ham is very different than uncured pork. It’s the curing process that changes the flavor and texture of the meat. Cured hams can be either cured in brine—the most common—or dry cured. There are four major types of brine-cured hams: fresh, cured, canned but not pasteurized, and canned and pasteurized. With the exception of some dry-cured hams, any ham that is not pasteurized must be refrigerated.
What about water content?
Except for dry cured hams, hams absorb moisture from the curing brine either by soaking or injection. In smoking and drying, that moisture may be removed. The government dictates that the moisture level must be indicated by the labeling. The driest product labeled “Ham” will not exceed ten percent added water. A product labeled “Ham with Natural Juices” is the next driest, then “Ham Water Added” and finally a “Ham and Water Product” which has as much as 35% water.
Should I be concerned about nitrites?
The brine used for curing is a combination of water, sugar, salt, and sodium nitrite. After several days of curing, the ham is washed free of brine, cooked, and is sometimes smoked. According to government allowances, the finished product cannot contain more than 200 parts per million of nitrite. All processors are regularly inspected by the USDA to assure compliance.
How do I select a quality ham?
Hams may be one of those items where you usually get what you pay for. Mass produced, inexpensive hams may be processed in as little as twelve hours. More expensive hams may not be ready for market with less than two weeks of processing. Additionally, the best hams come from selected pigs that have been fed high protein diets prior to slaughter.
What about glazes for my ham?
Glazes are a very nice touch for your ham. You can make a glaze or simply glaze your ham with a jelly. Red currant jelly is the traditional favorite followed by pineapple jelly. Pomegranate jelly which is bright and clear and sweet is our favorite. All three are available at The Prepared Pantry.

The Best Way To Buy Luxury Holidays
The critics of the travel agent often say packaging your own holiday saves you money and this is what you should do but in today's volatile world is your money safe? Should you pay more to an agent for peace of mind? Should you book your luxury holidays directly with an independent operator and cut out the middle man? There are so many options to consider, so what do you do?
I guess the conclusion will be different depending on your perspective, how much money is too much to risk? Typical luxury holidays will cost between £2k and £20k and that is the cost of a good second hand car, the deposit on a house for your son or daughter or that new luxury kitchen or bathroom you have always wanted. Would you buy a car from a man you had never met, based in a country where you couldn't speak the language, pay the man the money three months in advance of seeing the vehicle without any guarantee of financial protection? Probably not!
On the other hand you may be tempted if that man was offering the same car as your dealer down the road at a much lower price.
Surely the answer lies somewhere between the potential savings, potential risks and the amount you intend to spend but do you really know what the potential risks are or how much you have really saved.
Every high street in the UK typically has one or more of the multiple chains of travel agents and usually a local independent agent both of which seem to be closing down at a rate of knots. The problem with both these options are fairly straight forward; if you book your luxury holidays with the multiple that is in turn owned by the tour operator, then surely recommendations will be biased to their employers products and not necessarily finding you the consumer the best deal. The second option being the independent travel agent but being based in the high street and encumbered by the cost of expensive shop rents and ridiculous business rates, are they really in the best position to offer you the biggest discounts on your luxury holidays? Again the answer has to be probably not.
Booking your luxury holidays online seems to be the way the trend is going, so how do you know that you are getting the best deal? Many suggest you should book with the tour operator direct as this will cut out the need for the operator to pay an agent commission and in turn deliver you better value for money. The question is without trawling through all the hundreds of tour operators how do you know you are dealing with the one that has the best luxury holiday offers. You Don't.
You can of course book your luxury holidays independently as suggested before. So you go ahead and start hunting for the different elements of your holidays on-line and inevitably find that packaging them together saves you a little money but at the cost of financial protection.

Which Food To Travel With For The Holidays
Preparing food to share at the holiday festivities is a common practice in our society. However, you need to be able to travel with the food so that it will remain delicious when you arrive at your destination. Foods can move around causing them not to look as pretty when you arrive. You also don't want the food to tip over and get all over your vehicle. This can be extremely messy as well as be quite frustrating.
There are some wonderful containers out there that allow you to transport foods for the holidays without too much trouble. They are insulated containers that will keep the foods hot or cold. Many of them come with a covering that zips up around them like a suitcase. They even come with a handle. You should consider placing these items in a box so they won't have as much room to move around while you travel to your holiday destination.
You do need to be very careful about food spoiling when you transport it for the holidays. You definitely don't want to get anyone sick due to food poisoning. If it will be hot or you are traveling a long distance avoid foods such as potato salad with mayonnaise that can easily spoil quickly. Be prepared for delays too because the amount of people traveling on the roads over the holidays can result in the food being in your car for hours more than you had originally anticipated.
You may find it is much easier to ask the host of the holiday gathering if you can prepare the foods you want to contribute to the dinner upon your arrival. This way you can bring all the ingredients and prepare them without worrying about them moving around or spoiling. If you need some refrigerated items you can ask the host to pick them up for you and then pay them later. This is much easier than trying to fight your way into a packed grocery store around the holidays or finding them closed.
The downside to this is that you may be preparing foods in a kitchen you are unfamiliar with. The oven may bake at a different rate than yours so make sure you keep a close eye on baking times. You should also bring other clothing to change into once you have completed your kitchen duties. This way you don't have to worry about getting food on them that will make you self conscious as you sit down to visit with other guests.
Many people that travel for the holidays want to bring food to share with others. It can be your famous cheesecake or your mom's recipe for sweet potatoes. Make sure you plan ahead to have all the equipment and utensils you will need to safely transport foods for the holidays. You are better off arriving empty handed than with food that has been in compromising conditions during the course of travel.
I hope that reading the above information was both enjoyable and educational for you. Your learning process should be ongoing--the more you understand about any subject, the more you will be able to share with others.

Mallorca Top Sun Holidays For 2008
The island of Mallorca looks set to take the title of most popular holiday island for the European market this year, and with a hotels and holiday industry steeped in history she is showing she is adaptable to the modern needs of tourists too.
Since the advent of package holidays some fifty years ago initiated by holiday companies such as Thomas Cook and Thomson Holidays, whole areas of Spain and other European countries have built their economies around tourism, and each year they hope that the holidaymakers will come to their area. Some islands like Menorca and Majorca are almost entirely dependent upon having a modern economy and infrastructure through incoming tourism.
In June Last year predictions were for a dire 2007 for the holidays and flights market, with Spain and the Spanish islands including Menorca and Majorca being badly hit. The important UK market was slow, and British tour operators had reportedly close to a million holidays left unsold for the rapidly approaching peak summer months.
But after an unseasonly warm April in Britain when many people were considering taking a holiday in traditionally popular areas of the UK for holidays such as Scotland, Devon and Cornwall, the move towards an overseas holiday changed as quickly as the weather. Widespread floods led to mass holiday bookings and flights to Majorca, to the extent where some tour operators were able to return their holiday costs to full prices - and from a million unsold holidays people were suddenly having to take what was available.
Further worries were for the German market - along with the UK a vital market for holidays in Majorca, with the enviromental costs and carbon footprint dissuading some from taking flights to Majorca.
In recent years traditional holiday destinations such as Spain have faced new competition from Eastern European countries, with often lower cost holiday packages and flights, but despite initial signs of a real challenge, Spain seems to have seen them off for the moment at least, with overall visitor numbers for 2007 expected to rise compared to last year.
Among the tourists to the number one destination of Mallorca for holidays this year have been the Spanish Royal Family. The Royals traditionally spend their summer holidays on the island at the Marivent Palace, with this year being no exception. Previous guests some years ago during their holidays in Majorca have included Princess Diana with Princes William and Harry while they were still toddlers. The Spanish Prime Minister also traditionally visits Majorca for a meeting with King Juan Carlos.
